Our New Pastor

Pastor Joel and his wife were International Workers with the Alliance for over 20 years before coming to serve at WUAC. Their role overseas was at a regional Bible institute that equipped pastors and ministry leaders from several different countries. They are grateful for the opportunity to be here now to serve the Lord in the local church, and through the local church, to be an expression of the Lord’s love and blessing for the people of Union Township, greater New Castle, Lawrence Country, and beyond!

A guiding verse for Pastor Joel’s ministry is from Colossians 1:28-29 — “We proclaim Him [Christ], admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom so that we may present everyone perfect [mature] in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all His energy which so powerfully works in me.” (Col 1:28-29 NIV) Pastor Joel loves to come alongside those who want to grow in their walk with Jesus and encourage them on that journey.

Elders

Chuck Baker, John Duzyk, Larry Johnston and Hans Pardick serve as elders at WUAC. Our elders provide spiritual leadership at WUAC. They, in tandem with our Pastor, provide a team of spiritual leadership to WUAC that is committed to prayer, ministry, guidance, and teaching scripture.

Children

Rachel Yeager leads our children’s ministry! During the day, you’ll find Rachel working with senior adults and leading Zumba classes on Tuesday and Thursdays at WUAC. Her passion for Jesus is evident - she hopes to meet you or your child(ren)!
